51% of Dogs and Cats Are Considered Obese

Allison Sweeney, host of "The Biggest Loser", says that obesity amongst humans is not her only concern.  In fact, the host is very concerned about dog obesity, so much so that she is helping launch a weight loss system designed for canines.  The new program is the first of its kind and was pioneered by Hill's Science Diet.

According to Sweeney, her dog Winky had gained quite a bit of weight and it had caused her concern after a trip to her veterinarian.  She says that approximately 51% of dogs and cats are overweight.

Now, Sweeney says that her dog eats right and gets a lot of exercise to keep the pounds off which is great because she and Winky enjoy spending time outdoors together.

The weight loss system by Hill's Science Diet was created to help dogs lose weight within 30 days.  The creators are encouraging pet owners to learn more about the diet and enter for their chance to win a chance to meet Sweeney as well as $1,000,000 in prizes.
