S. Mark Pelham
Dr. Pelham was born and raised in the Huffman area and returned to practice medicine at Kelley Animal Hospital in 1994 after practicing for one year in Las Vegas, NV.Dr. Pelham received his B.S. degree and D.V.M. at Auburn University. Dr. Pelham has been active in organized veterinary medicine serving as President of the Jefferson County Veterinary Medical Association, Chair of the Alumni Advisory Council at Auburn University's College of Veterinary Medicine, and as a Board Member for the Greater Birmingham Humane Society. He is a current member of the Alabama Veterinary Medical Association, American Academy of Veterinary Dermatology and the American Veterinary Medical Association.
Dr. Pelham has served on several Boards for Auburn University including President of the Greater Birmingham Auburn Club, Auburn University Scholarship Foundation and the Auburn University Alumni Association Board of Directors. He is married to Tiffany, has a son Connor, Ivy the Golden Retriever, Lily the Chihuahua, and two Manx cats Blossom and George.
